Hudson Square Business Improvement District needed a brand to make it stand out amongst it’s famous New York neighbors: Soho, Tribeca, and Greenwich Village. Hudson Square’s grand-scale buildings were once home to printing presses. It was and still is on the creating edge.

Applied created a mark that evokes the neighborhood’s historical beginnings in print but still feels modern and fresh. This is accomplished with the help of a vibrant and energetic color palette.

The brand has been applied across many mediums including digital, print, clothing, and environmental design. My role in this project was to be in charge of taking the concept of the brand and bring it to life over these varying applications while staying consistent with the original vision for the brand.
